I have a great new Canon camcorder HF200 that also records HD video (1080 24Mbps) in the .mts file format.
Vimeo accepts these files and they look great at full screen. But with HF200 ,I record 2 video I’ve made one is 2.3GB big and the other one is 3.5G GB big. After four hours of uploading and processing Vimeo “rejected” it. After google search,Vimeo biggest files only support 500MB files for free. This means I must to split this video into few parts and delete meaningless .mts clips.
So I need a Mac Software not only can cut unwanted .mts clips but also export lossless MTS. After google search, I found Final Mate for Mac is the recommended lossless split .mts clips on Mac.Then I download and try it. And I had succeed with the cut the few meaningless mts files and the output .mts files without recompression. I had succeed upload those .mts files to Vimeo. Read The Full Story

How many of you have Facebook account, and how often do you upload or share videos on Facebook? There are two ways to add AVCHD videos to Facebook. One is directly uploading files from local computer, the other is capturing video with webcam. Here we would like to talk about the uploading from local computer.
There are many formats supported by facebook video for sharing, even the .mts files from AVCHD camcorders. However, you may sometimes find that some of the content in the recordings is no good, or moving the camcorder too fast. You will need a Facebook video cutter to trim AVCHD MTS/M2TS files. Aunsoft Final Mate for Mac (for Windows users: Aunsoft Final Mate) is the recommended HD camcorder cutter/trimmer for managing video collections without quality loss. It supports HD videos from camcorders like Sony CX700, Panasonic TM900, Panasonic SD90, Canon HF S30, and so on. Read The Full Story

I have a Canon Vixia HF10 camcorder, which is an excellent compact camera, offering features that few of its rivals can match. It features full 1920 x 1080 HD video.Nowadays I have recorded some videos with Canon HF10, which creates MTS video files. I would like to find a program to download all these MTS video clips from Canon HF10 and merge them into one without change any settings or quality for playing with TVIX HD M-6500 Media Player, it allows you to enjoy the newest Full HD videos and oncoming HD audios.
When I search AVCHD joiner or MTS merger, I get batch of programs, like TSmuxer, TSsniper. But it is frustrated for Mac users because most of them can only work on Windows platform. Then one of my friend recommended to a new software for me named Final Mate for Mac – an efficient HDCam software. It offers the one fastest way to join MTS files into big one for further playing on TVIX 6500 Media Player. Then I download and try it. And I had succeed with the stitch the 50 .mts files and the output one big .mts files without recompression. Read The Full Story

When you want to upgrade digital camera to camcorders, you may notice that most HD camcorders are available with AVCHD format recording, e.g. the 2011 new models at CES: Sony HDR-CX700, Sony PJ30, Panasonic HDC-TM900, Canon HF R20 and HF M400. With the HDMI cable, it is easy to watch the recording on HDTV. You can even store them to NAS, or stream AVCHD to HDTV via HD media players like AC Ryan PlayOn.
However, there is obvious gap between the playback of each clips. One of the solutions is to join the related clips into a file in big size. Aunsoft Final Mate for Mac is the recommended professional AVCHD joiner without re-encoding. Read The Full Story

With the 1080p 24Mbps MTS HD videos shot by Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2, do you want to burn them to DVD disc? The Panasonic PHOTOfunSTUDIO 6.0 BD Edition is only compatible with Windows, and there are some free windows applications like ImgBurn to free burn videos to DVD disc. But for Mac users, The DVD creating and burning process will be much more complicated. After google search, I found best solution around is to use Apple Compressor and DVD Studio Pro, which is included in Final Cut Studio.
The workflow is: convert GH2 24Mbps MTS with Final Mate for Mac, then import and edit MTS on Final Cut Pro and send to Apple Compressor and send to DVD Studio for authoring, them burn from DVD Studio on my internal DVD drive. Read The Full Story

As a loyal follower of HD camcorder, I always expect to own every new camcorder when they come to the market. After buying several HD camcorders from the oldest Sony Handycam DCR-TRV240E to the latest Panasonic TM700, I just got my new favorite Canon Vixia HF-G10 Full HD Camcorder on hands. As the latest flagship camcorder in Canon’s consumer line, Canon Vixia HF-G10 has outstanding low light performance. And the point that attracts me the most is its HD CMOS Pro Censor contains 1920 x 1080 pixels which is exactly the number of pixels required for full HD video.
The HF-G10 has 32GB of flash drive, allowing me to record almost three hours of 1920*1080 footages. For a shooting lover, it is necessary, even essential to do some editing, like merging, trimming/splitting/cutting to their recordings. Right, a efficient of AVCHD trim software or simple AVCHD merger is a must-have tool. For the past 5 years, I always used some free merger or trimmer which can help me do some work but they can not satisfy me with its instability and the poor quality of output video files. Finally it drives this confusion away until my discovery of Aunsoft Final Mate for Mac which is the most simple but the most efficient tool which has a perfect performance in trimming/cutting/splitting my Canon Vixia HF-G10 MTS clips in its time line and join segments into big one.
