Nowadays there are many camcorders with powerful Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound system enabling consumers to record their home movies in dramatic 5.1-channel digital surround sound. Such as camcordersSony HDR-CX550, HDR-XR520, Panasonic HDC-TM700, Panasonic HS700, Panasonic SD600, Panasonic TM900, Panasonic SD800, etc. For such amazing footages with 5.1 audio from your camcorder, you may like to put them to your 5.1 audio supported media players like Popcorn Hour A210, WDTV, Xtreamer, Egreat, DUNE HD Player, D-Link Wireless HD Media Player, GO Media HD Player, Xtreamer, TVIX (HD M-6500), AC Ryan PlayOn!HD, PSP/PS3, etc for enjoyment. But the camcorder may give your 100-200 files for three hours’ recording. If you just put all of them to your media player, you may find you had to manually change to next clip when playing, or it can not play successively. So joining all MTS files into One and Keeping 5.1 audio is necessary.

I have Canon EOS 7D for excellent picture, and sometimes shoot movie with it. However, I could edit it on my iMac with Final Cut Studio 2. I am running Mac OS X (10.6.3) with quad core and 4G RAM. I then installed Canon EOS MOVIE Plugin-E1 for Final Cut Pro, and it helps me import the video without error message. however, I found that some clips are shorter than what they are really taken. It seems that some frames were dropped when transcoded to ProRes.
When looking for solutions to fix EOS plugin problem, I find Aunsoft Video Converter for Mac as FCP transcoder alternative to convert EOS MOV to Apple ProRes no frame drops. It provides Apple ProRes 422, ProRes 422 (HQ), ProRes (LT) and ProRes (Proxy) and ProRes 4444 for editing in Final Cut Pro. Read The Full Story

I have a Canon Vixia HF10 camcorder, which is an excellent compact camera, offering features that few of its rivals can match. It features full 1920 x 1080 HD video.Nowadays I have recorded some videos with Canon HF10, which creates MTS video files. I would like to find a program to download all these MTS video clips from Canon HF10 and merge them into one without change any settings or quality for playing with TVIX HD M-6500 Media Player, it allows you to enjoy the newest Full HD videos and oncoming HD audios.
When I search AVCHD joiner or MTS merger, I get batch of programs, like TSmuxer, TSsniper. But it is frustrated for Mac users because most of them can only work on Windows platform. Then one of my friend recommended to a new software for me named Final Mate for Mac – an efficient HDCam software. It offers the one fastest way to join MTS files into big one for further playing on TVIX 6500 Media Player. Then I download and try it. And I had succeed with the stitch the 50 .mts files and the output one big .mts files without recompression. Read The Full Story

As a loyal follower of HD camcorder, I always expect to own every new camcorder when they come to the market. After buying several HD camcorders from the oldest Sony Handycam DCR-TRV240E to the latest Panasonic TM700, I just got my new favorite Canon Vixia HF-G10 Full HD Camcorder on hands. As the latest flagship camcorder in Canon’s consumer line, Canon Vixia HF-G10 has outstanding low light performance. And the point that attracts me the most is its HD CMOS Pro Censor contains 1920 x 1080 pixels which is exactly the number of pixels required for full HD video.
The HF-G10 has 32GB of flash drive, allowing me to record almost three hours of 1920*1080 footages. For a shooting lover, it is necessary, even essential to do some editing, like merging, trimming/splitting/cutting to their recordings. Right, a efficient of AVCHD trim software or simple AVCHD merger is a must-have tool. For the past 5 years, I always used some free merger or trimmer which can help me do some work but they can not satisfy me with its instability and the poor quality of output video files. Finally it drives this confusion away until my discovery of Aunsoft Final Mate for Mac which is the most simple but the most efficient tool which has a perfect performance in trimming/cutting/splitting my Canon Vixia HF-G10 MTS clips in its time line and join segments into big one. Concerning the camcorders, my experience is mostly based on Sony (CX550), Canon ( HF10) and Panasonic (GH2, SD90) models. Some days ago I use my old Camcorder Canon Vixia HF10 recording 1920 x 1080 MTS files. And I want to organize my video collection instead of having several small or large mts files without any sense. More specifically, in a social occasion I would like to store 4 or 5 different parts in video files and not having to store 50 meaningless mts files.
So I need a Mac Software not only can cut unwanted .mts clips but also export lossless MTS. After google search, I found Final Mate for Mac is the recommended lossless split .mts clips on Mac.Then I download and try it. And I had succeed with the cut the 50 meaningless mts files and the output .mts files without recompression. Read The Full Story

As one of the Digital SDL (DSLR) cameras from Canon, the EOS Rebel T3 / EOS 1100D provides outstanding still image and HD videos for the beginners. Compared to Rebel T3i / EOS 600D, and even Rebel T2i / EOS 550D, the price for Rebel T3 / EOS 1100D is much lower. But you would find it a huge value for the money to get clear, crisp true color.
If your Mac computer does not support playing or editing the raw H.264 .mov clips from Canon EOS Rebel T3 / EOS 1100D, you may try to download the x264 QuickTime codec for mac, to see if it would then work perfectly on Mac. Otherwise, you will need to make the H.264 MOV to Mac compatible for iMovie. Aunsoft Video Converter for Mac is the recommended EOS H.264 movie converter on Mac OS X like 10.5 Leopard with PowerPC/Intel and 10.6 Snow Leopard.

Below is the fast guide for you with the simple operation to play Canon EOS Rebel T3 movies on QuickTime, edit EOS videos on iMovie and even FCP. Read The Full Story
