Edit MTS files from Panasonic DMC-FZ100 to H.264 MOV for Final Cut Studio

The Panasonic DMC-FZ100, packs a powerful optical zoom and creative options including full HD movie recording capability. To realize the 1920×1080 full HD movie recording with high image quality, the new 14.1-megapixel MOS sensor is developed for DMC-FZ100. However, Final Cut Studio does not import the FZ100 AVCHD HD Videos. This 1080 mts formats can not easily import and edit on Mac with FCS, FCE, FCP, iMovie, Avid, etc .So if you want to edit Panasonic DMC-FZ100 avchd video with high quality on Mac, you can convert 1080 files to Final Cut MOV before editing.

Here is the step-by-step guide for you to import and edit Panasonic DMC-FZ100 1080 MTS files to Final Cut .
