With the new release of Aperture 3 in February 2010, it is easy to mix still images together with Canon SDLR .mov and .avi in Aperture’s slideshow. Panasonic Lumix GH1 is one of the listed supported camcorder in the support list of Aperture 3. But only .mov format is supported. If you shoot HD videos with SH mode (1280×720, 17Mbps, 50fps) in AVCHD footage, or 1920×1080 in AVCHD .mts format, you may find that the footage is not supported by Aperture 3.
To mix still images and AVCHD MTS in Aperture 3 for slideshow, it is recommended that you convert MTS to MOV as Aperture compatible format, so that you can download Panasonic Lumix GH1 images and AVCHD videos to Aperture. Step 1. Load Lumix GH1 videos to Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac.

Step 2. Choose MOV output format.
Click the “Format” option and navigate to HD Video > H.264 HD Video(*.mov) as output format. With the default profile, the Mac MTS converter will convert Lumix DMC-GH1 MTS to MOV in 1920×1080 HD resolution with H.264 as video codec.

To keep 50fps in MOV format, just click “Settings” button to change frame rate to 50. If the GH1 MTS is recorded in 1280×720, you may also change video size to 1280*720.
Step 3. Deinterlace Panasonic GH1 1080i MTS.
When your video is recorded in 1080i mode, just select a video footage and click the “Editor” button. The go to the Effect tab and tick the checkbox for deinterlacing. The Mac Panasonic AVCHD Lite converter will deinterlace GH1 1080i MTS to MOV in progressive mode. If you your Panasonic Lumix GH1 videos are 720p AVCHD Lite in MTS format, you can skip this step to deinterlace MTS.
Step 4. Convert Panasonic GH1 MTS to MOV for Aperture.
Click the convert button under the preview window, and the Mac AVCHD to Aperture converter will start the conversion MTS to MOV for importing to Aperture slideshow.
