Edit Panasonic proprietary AVCHD Lite video footage in Windows Movie Maker

I got my new Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 to record videos. And the AVCHD Lite mode enables the pocket-size camera record HD quality video better than the conventional Motion JPEG format. With the same SD memory card, you can store longer movie in AVCHD Lite with GSH/SH (17Mbps), GH/H (13Mbps) and GL/L (9Mbps) mode. It is recommended that you use AVCHD Lite mode for watching on HDTV or with Blu-ray Disc Player, while use Motion JPEG for playing and editing on computer.
However, I would like to watch on HDTV after editing. In such case, I shot videos in AVCHD Lite mode, but Windows Movie Maker on my computer does not recognize the video footage. The AVCHD support in Windows Live Movie Maker is only available on Windows 7, and you shall install related codec for importing the AVCHD Lite files to Movie Maker.

Step 1. Load AVCHD Lite files to Aunsoft Video Converter.
