How to Edit Panasonic SD700 AVCHD 1080p in Sony Vegas for HTPC

Panasonic HDC-SD700 provides a wealth of advanced features for experienced videographers, while remaining user-friendly for beginners. And we were highly impressed with the Panasonic 1080p series of HD camcorders, like Panasonic HDC-TM700, HDC-HS700, HDC-SD700 and HDC-SD60. Presently, it is a nice choice to enjoy and share camcorder recordings with friends via HTPC. And before playing, some editing options are needed.

Now I recommend a professional AVCHD Converter called Aunsoft MTS Converter which is powerful in converting, editing and combining AVCHD video files from HD camcorders. Sony Vegas is only compatible with Sony AVCHD, so I will show how to convert Panasonic AVCHD footage to Sony Vegas MPEG 2 with the help of Aunsoft.

Please follow these steps and make your Panasonic 1080 50/60p MTS files editable on Sony Vegas.
