I bought my Casio Exilim probably 1 or 2 years ago.
I loved it…
that is until it broke for no reason!
Right before I’m going on vacation too!
I took it in to get it fixed and the lady said it would cost $150. That’s ridiculous and I’d rather spend the money and just get a new camera.
What are some good cameras?
I like the small/slim camera with the big viewing screen, something preferably between $100-150, and also something that’s durable.
Thanks for any help!
It really depends on two things
1) where you sit, and
2) is it dark in the location.
However, basically all cameras will be good. You’ll just need to set some settings such as speed and flash/lighting.
If you have a zoom lens, and you sit way back – use that.
Even though there’s no attached picture of a concert, check out the picture of the moon:
If you are really on a budget and want the best quality for the money, check out the P&S Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28
[with a Leica lense]
which has more features than most pro DSLRs that require auxiliary lenses not even equal to the single initial full-range lense that comes with the FZ28.
