What camera takes really sharp high quality images, and is small enough to carry around?

This professional DVD Ripper can load three DVD source, you can load your DVD from DVD drive, DVD folder in your PC and also IFO file. I am thinking about attaching the crank to the little circular metal piece that winds the camera so that the crank does not snap down (because I want it to move as the camera unwinds).
I believe you are asking for a camera which has a fast startup and a fast shutter reaction time.
Sad to say, for small digital compact, this 2 parameter is usually poor, compared to the DSLR.

The best camera would be the one you spend a lot of money with, preferably more than your budget allows.
The most reliable camera is one that was taken cared of properly, not wet nor dropped and whose manual was read thoroughly.
A good still camera doesn’t make a good video camera. In the same way, a good video camera doesn’t make a good video camera.
Suggestions? Get the most expensive model you can afford from Canon, Sony or Lumix.

If you are really on a budget and want the best quality for the money, check out the P&S Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 [with a Leica lense] which has more features than most pro DSLRs that require auxiliary lenses not even equal to the single initial full-range lense that comes with the FZ28.
